Wynton King fundraiser/auction/raffle - 16 December, from 7.30pm

Wynton King, affectionately known as "Winnie" (due to his fascination with sticking his nose in the honey), is embarking on a long road to recovery after a random brutal attack. Some have started to call him "Evens" because, against all odds, he has fought his way back to his feet.

Come and watch James Marshall (host of "What A Lad" podcast) and guests on the couch at Benny's Barber Shop, 15 Sandyford Street in the heart of Sydenham from 7.30pm - trading stories, and a few laughs over a couple of jars, all in the name of raising funds for Winnie's long term recovery.

Tickets cover your first two drinks and some nibbles. Bar and kitchen will be open with 30% of takings going to Winnie's recovery fund.

A huge auction will be happening with some top shelf items, and the best raffle prizes south of the North Pole, so why not get your Christmas shopping done while you're there. All proceeds from tickets, auctions and raffles are to go to supporting Winnie and his whānau as they relocate to Dunedin to continue his recovery.
