Coaching Courses and Development

The Club will endeavor to keep you up-to-date with any coaching sessions or relevant information throughout the rugby season. All coaches must attend either a Small Blacks or Rugby Smart course before the season commences.  

There are three ways for coaches to complete their compulsory Rugby Smart Accreditation this season:

  1. Online Modules
  2. Online Webinar
  3. Attend an in-person master class.

Several different Master Class sessions may be held in the lead up to the 2026 season for coaches coaching in the Teenage - Premier Division 1 Grades. These will also allow the coaches to be signed off for Rugby Smart.

Our RDO, Mark Croft, is your main point of contact for coaching. Part of his role is to assist all coaches with training and support throughout the season. Contact Mark at any time if your team or coaching staff need extra support or training, like front row training. Mark can also attend your trainings where possible or provide alternative coaching assistance if required (senior player assistance).
